It is with great sadness
that we have to report the loss of Elvira Vockrodt, one of our Vice
Presidents and P.R. to the Rottweiler Breed Council.
I have known Elvira since
l987 from the first meeting and over the following 13 years, she was
the Public Relations Officer for the Rottweiler and many of its
organisations. Through her Public Relations Company with head office
in London, she was in the front line position to help her beloved breed,
the Rottweiler, in its hour of need.
During this period she represented the breed in the Media at every
level. Attending meetings, gatherings and Open Days. Sending endless
letters to M.Ps. Government and Local Councils, which all went towards
preventing the Rottweiler being placed on the DANGEROUS DOG REGISTER.
We
all owe her a debt of gratitude we will never be able to repay. Her
beloved breed will be forever in her debt for the numbers she helped and
the lives she saved. The many families she has helped in their hour or
need, too numerous to mention.
